Nina Martens is the main protagonist of Das Haus Anubis. In Das Haus Anubis, Staffel 1, Nina is the new girl in Anubis. She is first seen in the car with her grandmother. Her grandmother gives her a necklace and she (grandmother) kisses Nina's cheek when she first arrives at Anubis House.She is portrayed by Kristina Schmidt.

At the beginning of the series, Nina is the new girl in school. She appears very shy and close to her "Oma" (Gran in German). This is because her parents died when she was very young, so her grandmother raised her. Not many people in the House like her at first, because they (especially Luzy) believe she has taken Linn's place and also think that she has something to do with her recent disappearance; Nina unfortunately and coincidentally arrived on the same day that Linn left.

Season 1

When visiting her grandmother one day, a woman named Sarah warns Nina of the "black bird" and gives her a locket with the Eye of Horus on it. Nina soon gets going to search for the treasure that Sarah tells her of. Nina moved with her grandmother in the House of Anubis. Her grandmother moved into a Nursing home. In old people's home, she met an old woman who tells her that the painting which has the picture of House of Anubis, was her house. The woman gave Nina an amulet with a picture of a little girl. The old woman give Nina and warned them explicitly about the dangers in the house Anubis. Since Nina was blamed for the disappearance of Linn, she had to pass a test of courage. she should go alone to the attic, and bring an object as evidence. She was detained by Felix accidentally in the attic, but she could free herself with her hair clip, which could open the door to the attic. Since she had forgotten her keys in the attic, she had to go back again there.When she went to get her keys, she has dared to go up to the very top, and finds the first clue to the mystery of the house. Nina was always more interested in the mystery. Since she really like Daniel, and because she knew that he is interested in the secrets and the subject of Egypt, she trusted Daniel as the first of the secret. As Nina sometime from the attic and came back, her roommate Delia was still awake, and she was questioned where she was. Nina tell Delia also the secret of the house and where the treasure is. In episode 30, the three established "the club of old Willow". Luzy lies not give up and always believed firmly that Nina had something to do with Linn's disappearance until in Episode 38 . From this episode that Nina decided Luzy also be incorporated into the Club. A cat walk through the Anubis house , Nina took the cat when she was sick, the cat was with her in the room. As Nina woke the cat has suddenly disappeared from her room. Nina and Delia asked Rosie to go to the basement and to see if the cat is there. But thanks to this action by Nina and they get Rosie fired. they were struggling by Victor's rules and all of them are hungry and mostly Delia, in the theater class, Mr. Petkovic showed what was their theme for the musical, Nina guess it right, it's about Egypt, when Delia fainted she got worried.

In play, But Nina did not appear in time for the performance of the musical,because she take too long to sneak in Victor's office and Delia had to stand in for them. In the house, where she has sneaked into Victor's room to open the safe and to learn the next secret of Sarah. She has find out that Sarah's parents are died in a car accident, but Victor killed them., she could still see through the time where the cameras came and hid. Then she went back to school with her bike. It comes in time and she play Sarah again. then before Sarah died she dreamed her and then when Nina visited Sara's funeral. Along with Daniel (who was the first student to be nice to Nina) and Delia, Nina sets up a club dedicated to the mysteries of Haus Anubis. They are later joined by Luzy and Felix. But before Felix become an official member, he has to go to the attic and to get the riddle there, but Nina and the rest are going to help him to get out, when he's still in the cellar. so early morning they were supposedly going to helped him but Rosie interrupts when she comes back to them, so they had no choice but to go to school but later they were supposedly going to check on him, so later on they find out that Magnus free him. when Felix becomes an official member of the club, she notices that Felix acts differently when he asks the riddle to Daniel immediately, that was the time that she dreamed of Sarah again, when Sarah warns about trusting Felix, so Sibuna voted, she voted Felix for leaving the club. but Daniel, Luzy and Delia voted for Felix to stay, so Felix stays in the club but Nina still remains to be suspicious at him. so while cleaning the living room and searching for mice, she notices that Felix went to Magnus and she's getting more suspicious on him but Daniel notice it, until Daniel apologizes Nina and trust her. so they helped Felix but to give some fake riddle so Magnus couldn't get the riddles and especially the treasure, Victor evacuated all the students in the school, so they must have to get the disc before Victor gets it, but that mustn't be easy at first, because Mr. Altrichter was guarding the place, so Luzy helped them by locked him up to his office, so Nina and Daniel get to their way to the boarding house to get the disc, after getting the disc, Daniel wants to solve the riddle next but Nina got worried if that took so long, because Daniel was figuring out the riddle using the telescope and they saw that Felix was going to the basement and quickly leaves. In the middle of election for student representative, while Delia's making a speech, Nina notice that Magnus come with Zeno to talk privately, so she and Daniel followed him and realized that Magnus is working for him for money, Zeno was very angry to him when he really wants to find the grail, so they both find out that the grail was the treasure behind all the riddles. So Nina let Daniel talk to Felix about Zeno and later on Felix comes to the bathroom to meet them and confess them that he needs to find the treasure and he has no other choice, but also he couldn't even betray him because Magnus blackmailed him, she helped him with the rest of Sibuna members, so they give him another but a real riddle, that was already solved. Just that Magnus could give it to Zeno but the riddle doesn't include the clue for the treasure, Orion, or the disc.

The Sibuna prepared to do the last part to put Corvus to the tower room and when Victor comes with Mr. Altrichter, she quickly get the grail and Daniel hides her to the bathroom, but later she disappear like he also got confuse and Victor, when she came back in prom, she tells him that she was at her grandma's place to hide the grail and her dress is also belong to Sarah.

Season 2

Nina talks about how can they hide the grail against Victor, so Delia has an idea to hide the grail to her cabinet and agrees to Felix about the story of the explosion and the grail melted, Delia and Nina come to Victor's office and they were both interrogated, they are trying to give extra time for Felix and Daniel to melt other things that it will looks like the grail is melted.

After the plan work, Delia and Felix dance and celebrated that Victor fall for it, while Nina and Daniel awkwardly staring to each other, but Felix notices it and Daniel walks out. When Nina and Delia are together in the room, Delia asks her if Daniel was in love, but Nina was unsure about it and she seems that Daniel was acting strange, she advice Nina when Daniel come she has to wink or something, but Nina couldn't do it but she give it a try, Delia shows that she's good to wink to her other eye and they shared their laughs together.

When Daniel comes in to her room, Delia had their moment so she went near at Daniel's back to guide Nina, he asks if Nina has time this afternoon, Delia told her to wink, so Nina wink at Daniel, but he thought that there's something to her eye and he asks again if he can talk to her, she nodded.

Luzy and Felix come and Daniel told them what he found, a manuscript from the Winsbrügge-Westerling, and he told them to tell the whole story of it at the theater room, Delia got awkward and thought that Nina and Daniel had only an appointment to go there together, after Daniel almost tell them a whole love story of Amneris and Tutankhamun, Mr. Altrichter came and they quickly leave. while parking their bike she saw Trabas outside of the Anubis house.

Trabas warns Nina that Victor knows that he got fooled by them, so she quickly tell it and they quickly went to her room, they seen Victor was already trying to open the cabinet to get the grail.

Nina tells them that the grail needs to be hidden and she wouldn't let hide the grail to her room again, so Daniel assigned Delia and Felix first to guard and that Felix make the alarm to the bathroom.

Nina was going to the laundry room while carrying her clothes, Victor comes in and get her laundry, Luzy came and to stop him. when she hears Luzy scream, she saw that Victor almost open the door to the bathroom and stop him, she told him that she had a nightmare and luckily that work, so she meet Delia, Luzy and Felix in the bathroom.

Luzy and Nina stayed in the bathroom for the grail, also she give the letter to Luzy and Luzy seems to be happy when she got letter from Linn, Nina comforts Luzy and told her that she will meet her someday, when the danger is over.

When Victor was doing an inspection before they were leaving Anubis House, she switch the grail to Felix so Nina firstly leave and goes at the other door to the kitchen, to get the grail back to Felix. When Luzy and Felix leave Nina and Daniel together, Daniel told her that he cracked something, he tell the riddle and she get flattered, but realizes that he only cracks the code to the hieroglyph and she walks away.

She meet Daniel again in school, she didn't tell him what's really wrong and directly go to class, when she goes to the bathroom, she told Delia that they shouldn't kissed. Delia told her that she's hopelessly in love with Daniel and Delia told that he's totally on her, but Nina still didn't know what to do, so she told Nina that she need some intensive course from her advise as Dr. Delia Sommer.

Nina listens on what Delia and when Daniel comes, he told them that hey can open the grail and they have appointment at 12 midnight, when they start the initiation, Nina hold the grail and successfully open the grail.

After opening the grail, she thought that Felix was really cursed but realizes that it was a prank and nothing happen, but Nina feels a cold feet. Before going to sleep with Delia, Delia asks about him and Daniel, but Nina tells that when she see Daniel and her brain went standby, Delia suggest that she can helped Nina to communicate with Daniel.

Daniel asks Nina to meet her this afternoon at the garden. When they meet together at the garden, She tell Daniel what Delia has to say to her, until it felt awkward and she didn't know that Delia talked to Kaya, Victor come to give bad news to Nina that her grandma was in hospital.

Delia come with her to the hospital and find out that her grandma was in coma, exactly at 12. At first Nina didn't believe it was a curse, and Delia notice that her medallion light. Nina tries to calm Delia when she got panicked attack. she help her to breathe in and out, then she believe to Delia that it was a curse and also that she feel bad that she couldn't stay longer in the hospital to take care of her grandma.

She set an appointment to Sibuna at 12 and told them about what happened to Grandma and Delia too. Then Daniel was trying to do something to help her grandma that what makes her flattered, knowing that he will do anything to help her grandma.

Nina become flattered when Daniel asks for his help, she couldn't answer when Delia suddenly speak up and told him that she needs to spend more time with her grandma and he understands. Then Nina meet Daniel outside the school and told him that she's willing to help him but he becomes angry and walks away, she didn't understand why, she confronted Delia and asks why Daniel was angry to him, Delia said that she said to Kaya that Nina wasn't like some nerd, and Nina gets angry and feels that she has no chance to save her grandma.

She confronted Daniel and explain about what Delia said that wasn't true and she doesn't want to lose him, he got flattered and he said that he was going to say the same thing, Felix awed for them and afterwards they starting figuring out the riddle. When Delia come and she apologizes because they already starting, Delia wants to quit the club and Nina wants her to stay and the rest either, she explains that it was fine now and Delia thought that she has to quit but happy that she stays in the club.

Nina, Daniel and Felix had meeting in the bathroom and Nina tell that the grail is getting unsafe and Felix suggested that his new alarm laser is better than the old one and she believes that works, Then when Daniel come into Nina and Delia's room, he thought that they discovered something new but they didn't, also Nina thinks that strange that they couldn't still solve the clues and they tried to find the answers in the books, also when Felix show his laser to them, he laser the hieroglyph and translated to normal text.

When Nina received a whole bunch of flowers in the locker and she thinks that this isn't the right moment to be in love with Daniel and her grandmother was the most important for now, after that she can be in love with him. although she feels comfort for the flowers that she received. When Daniel come and when he's going to kiss her and she tells honest that she feels sorry and her grandma was really important to her and leave.

At night, Nina came seeing that Daniel was there and suddenly walks out, so she did too after what happened. After Nina finds out that the grail was gone and she sees that how Daniel gets angry to Delia and Felix and she knows the reason why, she starting making letter for him after Delia sleeps, she secretly put it on Daniel's room and quickly hide, so she let him read the letter.

In the next morning, Nina wakes up early hearing someone throw a rock into her window and it's Daniel. They meet together again in the garden and Nina apologizes and Daniel said that he should the one who apologize because of his behavior. He said that he lost a friend and he wants to have it again, so afterwards they become friends again.

The Sibuna had meeting again but without Luzy, about the signs that they need to found and it's four elements, the four focused on the element that they were been assigned, Nina was assign to focus on fire element, so she stayed in the garden and focus on the sun. Delia and Nina were tired after a whole day to focus on the signs of the element, Nina already fall asleep and missed her sign.

Daniel shows the newspaper to Nina and she read the news about what happened to Zeno Trabas. and after Victor get the newspaper and walks out when he realizes something, they all went to school. Nina tells Felix that maybe Zeno stole the grail and he's been cursed too. Nina thought that Delia lighted her face and realizes that she misses her sign.

When the theater class is started, Mr. Altrichter came after Mr. Petkovic sharing his bad news to all his student and Mr. Altrichter told Nina about the news to her grandmother. Mr. Altrichter let Nina go to see her grandma to the hospital, but Daniel also go and assist her to go to the hospital, she become said after she hear a bad news from the doctor, she was worried and she doesn't want to be alone. he told that he was never alone and she hugged him. Nina tells about what happened to her grandma and Daniel set an appointment for the members of Sibuna.

When Delia comes back after she talk to Luzy, Nina tells her the good news that they found one element and there's problem with it, that Rosie will clean the place and they need sand for earth element. So they collect sand to put in the middle, they start their initiation and that doesn't work, Nina wonders why it doesn't work, while they have the element and saying. Delia that can happen because of a traitor and it's because of Luzy.

Nina doesn't want to believe that Luzy is a traitor and said that Delia won't achieve anything if she keeps accusing Luzy, she told when Charlotte come to her and greet Sibuna, Nina couldn't believe it. Nina tell it to Felix and Daniel about what Charlotte said to Luzy, she wants to have meeting with Luzy and also the last sign.

Nina comes to the garden and when meeting Felix and Daniel there, she told them about what Charlotte said to Luzy, she wants to have urgent meeting with Luzy and to focus on the last sign.

When Delia come to her room, she let her try to play the guitar which is she wasn't really good at it. so she sing instead for Daniel and she sings "Du". Then at night Nina and the rest was following the traces of water, as they find the wall and Felix found it, they said their saying and finally the wall opens. Nina assigns Delia and Felix to collect nails from young girls, while she has to collect gray hair from old man with Daniel.

Nina tells that she has to start collecting grey hairs, so she decided to come to the park with Daniel. After leaving the park, Daniel and Nina only got two hairs, which is they didn't know if that's enough. Later on she talked to Daniel after she find out what he told to Delia, she told him that they need to have a little fun. and then she caught him also outside and thought that Daniel doesn't want to go to the party, she hold his hand and come inside with him.

She sings "Du" and Felix let her repeat to sing it again, so they could have time to make-up Engel as Janice Winterberg. After the party ended, she asks Delia if how's the task going, Delia said she will do it today and then Felix gives something to Nina, a brown envelop, Daniel notice it was a building archive, Nina realizes it includes the map of the secret room and got worried but Daniel has a solution.

He draws a fake map for Victor to get it, so they have more time solving the riddles. Then she was reading the list of the task that they take, they can't still find who has grey hair of an old man, Delia thinks Victor, but Nina agrees to her and they had no choice. when Victor falls asleep, Nina and Delia are going to start the task but the telephone rings and they hide when Victor wakes up, they didn't know who was his caller, after the call he falls asleep again, she finally got his eyebrows and leave.

After Felix gives the letter to Nina, she finally knows that Daniel quits in the club and got worried why he do that and didn't tell his reason. Nina blame herself for it and Delia comforts her. Then she continues to complete the missing ingredients without Daniel. so she will do her task to get a saliva from an adult woman with Luzy, so she bring the pancake so Ms. Engel could take a bite on in.

When Nina collects the ingredients, she realizes that there's a missing ingredient and it's the kiss from an orphan boy and they know it's Daniel. Delia suggest that they need to mix without the one missing ingredient and that would work. Nina and the rest went to physics room to mix all the ingredient, when they all mixed the ingredients and she notice that doesn't work and they still need to do the one missing ingredient.

But when Daniel came, she saw how he ignore her while he helped them to finish the final ingredient, at night she just think about Daniel and Delia asks her about it, Nina thinks that Daniel quits in the club, when he doesn't want near from her. Nina tells that someone needs to go again to the basement, so Delia cheated and get the fake dice so she wouldn't go to the basement.

Nina made it correctly from getting the two match sticks and Delia picked the shorter one, so she was going to the basement. Nina become distracted seeing Charlotte and Daniel talking together but Delia notices it, but Victor saw them but they were both going to the dining area and Delia touch the bowl full of worm, then she screams but walkout so she could go through to the basement.

Which is Victor stared at Nina and gets suspicious on it, but Nina stayed calm and watch the game. then Delia came before Victor comes back and they glad she didn't get caught by him, Delia thinks that there's nothing change and Nina wants her to go back again but Delia doesn't want to, but if she was, then she want Nina with her to go back.

Delia and Nina discover a new task which is Delia copied it by writing on a paper, they come back but Nina got jealous seeing Charlotte and Daniel kissed by truth or dare, she got bothered when Daniel walks out and Charlotte followed him. that night, Nina sneak him and Charlotte, seeing together sitting in bench, and thought that they already kissed, she denies to Delia that she's too jealous so she throw a water to her and accidentally soak the paper that they copied in the basement.

She has no choice but to go back to the basement but this time to take photos, then she stepped in the carpet that suddenly beep the alarm, she rushed to go to the secret room and take photos, then go back quickly to her room. then after she take photos, in school Felix helped them to figure out the next riddle, Nina doesn't want any help from Daniel because of her jealousy and because he's not involve anymore in the club.

In biology class, she didn't expect that Daniel will become her partner to take care of the chicken as part of their biology project. Then she didn't know what to do with the chicken and Delia named it Ingrid, then she refuse to his help again, but Delia feels disappointed that Ingrid stays in their room and she finds it disgusting, Nina thinks its a better idea. so Delia doesn't let her involved in the tasks because of what she did and she has to take care of Ingrid by herself.

When Ingrid was missing, she has to find it herself until Charlotte give it back to her when she notices that Nina was finding her, but then Nina changes her mood and walk out, then Victor caught the chicken and she tries to explain to him what for, so she let him Mr. Altrichter for her proof, then Victor locked her in the bathroom with Daniel, which is Nina also doesn't like the idea.

They argued until she saw Amneris in the mirror and got scared, which is Daniel was there to comfort her. then she asks if he finds Charlotte great, which is he said yes, but he said that she's more greater than her. then they kissed together and afterwards she said that she finds that he's great too, they were become okay and Delia scolded Daniel for what he did to Nina and accidentally tells about burglary, Delia pulls Nina to go with her and doesn't want Daniel to get involved because he wasn't in the club anymore.

Then after she heard the explosion outside the school, she knows it was Delia. After that they clean the whole laboratory and later Altrichter has a bad announcement but she thought it was her grandma again but he tells it's for Daniel, she finds out that Pierre Marrant was in coma, Nina tells the only solution was to solve the riddles quickly.

Then she realizes that Daniel create a code for her which is she didn't received it, he told that he put on the table which they didn't see it, they tried to find it, Luzy came and thought they were doing something but Nina explains they weren't and they are trying to find the envelope. Luzy tells that Charlotte sees Victor holding an envelope and grins.

So Nina tells that they should be hiding their riddles well and Daniel said that they are going to finish align the stones to the pyramid tonight, so that night, they are all in the room to finish their task, she almost got scared when Delia sneeze and thought that all stones would fall but wasn't. then Felix burp and he feels better, they saw all the stones are falling except for the last time, which is they taught they failed.

Then it wasn't and Daniel said that they have to go back to the basement, before they were going to the basement, they saw Benny was sleeping on the sack and Nina also get attracted to him, but Felix and Daniel take them already to go to the basement, they go back to do their task putting the three stones on the wall, which is first not work when Nina tries it, but he tried it again when he follow the alignment of the stones and it worked.

When they back again, Victor was coming and they rushed to go to the kitchen, which is Delia dropped her phone and couldn't get it back immediately, later on Delia get her phone back then go back to her room with Nina, then Delia fantasizing Benny again and Nina agrees that he looks good but she says that Daniel will probably got jealous and they are one for each other.

Before she's going to have breakfast, Benny already knows her name and mentioned it and Daniel immediately introduces to him that he's her boyfriend. In her room before going to school, she fix her hair for Benny to notice and also hides the cuddle stuff toys under her bed before leaving, but Daniel only notices what she did to her hair.

Then later on she notices that her cuddle stuff toys are cut out and stitch in different figures, she tells it immediately to Daniel that the perament is gone, then they are going back again at the basement, before going she almost bump at Benny, he notices that she looks always shocked every time meeting him, she said she's thinking through her thoughts, then he wish her to have good thoughts. then she proceed to go to the basement, after Delia figure out about the lotus and Felix that they have to plant lotus, they saw a smoke and Delia got panicked.

Then after Victor was gone, they finally escape and survived from the smoke. then Delia and Nina goes back to their room then Delia plans to thank him with a kiss, Nina refuse to, because she wants to avoid with him, but telling the reason that he gets the document and the club, Delia think of something that she could thank him instead after he fix the window, Delia notices that Nina liked Benny too.

Then after she falls asleep she dreamed of Daniel and her together happily, later on she dreamed that she kissed Benny and wakes up. She tries to ignore her dream and went to the kitchen, she thought it was Benny, but only Daniel. she hugged him after what happened, then she supposedly going to kissed him but he mentioned about the task and she gets a bit awkward to what she did then she tells they have to settle a meeting for their task.

When Benny came to have breakfast and suddenly he compliment her dress and Daniel quickly asks about it to him, she was supposedly going to get some fruit but accidentally hold his hand and she got awkward again and walks out. Delia went there and she thinks it's because of Benny, which is she denied it and tells it's because of the task, for her grandma.

In class, after seeing Benny, she got fainted and saved by him, because of that she wants to go to the cinema with him, which she tells to Daniel first and he allows her to. they come back late after enjoyed watching cinema with him, they attempted to kiss which she stopped, when she feels that's wrong, because Daniel was his boyfriend, then later she leaves.

The next day, even she feel hurt and tries to restrain her feelings to Benny, she joins with Delia to have makeup with Luzy and Charlotte, which is they were all in the bathroom that time, they didn't know that Benny was there, he wants to meet them at 5, which she tries to be ready, but unexpectedly meeting Daniel and she forgot that they have to collect lotus.

They wait for the stranger to come, but argued when Daniel says that she kissed Benny, which she honestly say she didn't, then she walks out, she went back to the house, which she saw what Delia, Luzy and Charlotte did to Benny. Then she's going to the laundry room and unexpectedly meet Benny there, they kissed but later on she stopped and feels conscience, that she doesn't want to hurt someone.

She scolded Delia for pouring the drink to Benny which Delia tells her the reason why, she feels guilty and feels that Daniel knows that she kissed Benny, she went back to the hospital again, when her grandma had heart attack again. which Daniel come and wants to be with her, That night she thanked him and she wants to start over but he doesn't want to, later on Delia suggested that she should write a letter for Daniel, she couldn't give it to him when she doesn't trust herself but Delia gives to him.

Nina saw how he reads the letter, when at the forest, they hold their hands together and later on got kidnapped by Raven. She was taken in the hospital and couldn't remember anything, she only remembers about Victor's birthday, but she forgot the rest what happened to her after she got kidnapped. She sleeps alone in her bed, she apologizes to Daniel about Benny and explains that means nothing to her and couldn't remember anything what Victor asks her about the castle and the events, except for the grail that she remembers that she hides it under the blanket.

Then that night, Victor asks where she hides the grail but she couldn't remember and dreamed about Daniel. after a few she went back to school again but scared when she saw Radus, on Raven's masks she remember something after she got kidnapped, which she tells to Daniel. Then Delia wakes her up and saw the plant becomes bigger, Delia got scared and sleep under her bed.

Nina got the seeds after the plant died, because Daphne cut one of them when saving Magnus, so finally they are going to the basement to finish their task, by putting the seeds on the wall. Then the next puzzle, she went to shop of Pierre with Daniel to get the book, but they were too late and Raven already got the page, but she dreamed to play the melody, and at the bathroom, she saw Amneris but helped her to get the melody, which she told to Daniel, she organize the concert inside the Anubis house, inviting Mr. Eif and the father of the twins so they could finally finish their task.

Delia always helps Nina with her problems, not only on the mystery but also her relationship with Daniel. Delia also gives her a tip when it comes to love, she helps Nina to be with Daniel together, when Nina and Daniel are talking together in the garden, she helps her to start a conversation with him. She always cheers up Nina when she is sad same thing when Delia was sad and she's there to cheer her up, when Delia broke up with Kaya, She is the one that thinking of making a group and created "Sibuna". Later on, Luzy apologizes after she was involved in the club and their friendship grows when Luzy become a official member of the club. They once talk in the bathroom when they are guarding the grail, she comforts Luzy knowing Linn isn't coming back and going to another country.
